This is a (funny?) little compilation of some of the hazards we have encountered while walking on sidewalks and various pedestrian corridors in Mexico. Every business and house does whatever they want in front of their property as far as a sidewalk, if any. Most are not at the same level as the one next to them, rarely even the same material and sometimes it’s really egregious. My personal favourite is the upside down manhole cover but it was the very last picture that finally got me today! Not sure if the toe is broken but it’s a bloody mess. I was walking toward the camera and it’s the bent one that reached out and attacked me.
