We took our bikes on a 20 mile ride the length of Mazatlan. The malecón has bike lanes almost the entire length of the city. Saw cliff divers, took in the view from a rooftop hotel bar, saw one of the ice caves on “icebox hill“ where the city stored ice brought in from San Francisco in the 1800s, rode past the cruise ship terminal and decided not to buy any scorpion tequila. Went to the far north end of town for dinner with friends and saw these three marlin one of the fishing boats in our marina brought in.
We have left Mazatlan now, but not before Theresa lost her phone somewhere between a friend’s condo and the boat last night… But we have seen a number of whales today!
