Two day sail from Mag Bay to Cabo, mostly motoring in very calm seas. Bella figured out there were two hitchhikers on the anchor one of whom rode probably 60 miles and only flew away when Tess dropped the anchor on arrival, 0200. Had a most excellent time in Cabo, saw the sights and the chaos. Had the best shrimp and fish tacos ever at Mango Deck, a place on the beach. Discovered two very corroded hose clamps in the back of the boat, so a bit of an adventure to find replacement parts in town but we succeeded. The rock arch is really cool and we found the anchorage to be very calm at night. The jet skis, pangas and private yachts all disappear after sunset and they’re really not too bad during the day. The jet ski‘s are not allowed to go crazy in this section of the bay, they are required to go much farther away to play. A few very fancy super yachts, the obligatory pirate ships and an incredible number of both fishing charter boats and day charters of all descriptions. Lots of high end restaurants and fancy resorts and a mall that could’ve been in Beverly Hills.

Left Cabo a few hours ago heading to Los Frailes (the friars) on the east side of the south end of Baja.
